Palau ratifies OSC Constitutive Charter

Palau becomes the third country to ratify the Constitutive Charter of the Organisation of Educational Cooperation (OEC) following the signing of the instrument of acceptance on 23 September of the said Charter by the President of the Republic of Palau, H.E. Thomas Remengesau Jr.

The Secretary-General-elect of the OEC, H.E. Manssour Bin Mussallam, commended Palau’s commitment to the Universal Declaration of the Balanced and Inclusive Education (UDBIE) and the principles and values of the OEC, expressing the Organisation’s readiness to support and assist Palau in achieving the commitments made in the UDBIE.

The OEC was founded on 29 January 2020 by countries from across the Global South as an instrument of intellectual, technical and financial cooperation and solidarity between its Member States as well as its Associate Members.
